Google Plus Shutdown

Por postcron_blog_en |

Rumors have just been confirmed: Google+ is shortly being shut down.

This was confirmed in an official statement by Google, in which it was announced that all Google+ APIs will progressively stop working starting January 28, with some intermittent failures, until its final shutdown on April 2, 2019.

This closure, obviously, also affects third-party platforms, such as Postcron:

This means that as of February 28, 2019, it will no longer be possible to:

  • Add new Google+ accounts to Postcron’s Dashboard
  • Schedule posts in already added Google+ accounts

All the posts scheduled for after that date (February 28, 2019) will, unfortunately, not be published.

Despite that, you will still have access to your past posts published on your Google+ accounts for as long as they should still be available according to your plan!

These changes will not affect your login (in case you log in with Google+), as you will still be able to use your Gmail account by selecting “Sign in with Google”.
