You can publish articles on the Postcron blog as a Guest Author!
If you’re a reader of our blog, you’ve probably noticed that our articles have certain characteristics, which we value highly at the time of publishing. So, we ask that you take them into consideration when you send us your creation.
We would like the articles published in our blog to be:
- Inspiring,
- Educational, progressive, easy to read,
- Entertaining, positive, fun,
- We have to make our readers smile while reading our articles, as well as inspired,
- Credible: based on data, facts, evidence. Not views.
- Practical, applicable.
Before writing this article you should consider…
How is this article going to better the personal life of our readers after reading it? (what will make them happier, more effective, more efficient?)
or their professional life (Is it going to help them achieve their goals faster, more effectively, more efficiently?)
Topics and Format Guide for Guest Blogging
Here is a list of the things to take into consideration when writing the article, in order for it to be published:
- The subject of the article has to be related to Digital Marketing: Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Inbound Marketing, Web Analytics, SEO, Ecommerce and Conversion, etc.
- The article must have at least 1500 words.
- The tone should be casual but polite. Write in a personal tone, as if you were talking to a friend.
- It has to be easy to read, that is, it must be well structured with headings, subheadings, bold, italic, images (videos, gifs, quotes, etc).
- It should contain quotes, verifiable data, examples, and evidence. We like our articles to be based on evidence, numbers, and data. We do not like our articles to be based on views or assumptions without evidence.
- The article can not have misspellings, must be grammatically correct and use proper punctuation (periods, commas, exclamation points, question marks, etc.).
- The content has to be 100% original, with the exception of “quotes” (you can not use phrases or paragraphs from other articles already published on the web – unless the source/credits are mentioned).
- It should include infographics, videos, etc, with sources/credits.
- Note that articles that directly or indirectly promote a particular company, product, or service will not be published.
