{"id":6686,"date":"2015-01-01T20:20:59","date_gmt":"2015-01-01T20:20:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/postcron.com\/en\/blog\/?p=6686"},"modified":"2018-08-02T21:11:36","modified_gmt":"2018-08-02T21:11:36","slug":"facebook-policy-updates-profile-publishing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/postcron.com\/en\/blog\/facebook-policy-updates-profile-publishing\/","title":{"rendered":"Facebook Policy Updates for Profile Publishing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Due to recent updates on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/developers.facebook.com\/blog\/post\/2018\/04\/24\/new-facebook-platform-product-changes-policy-updates\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facebook\u2019s API<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> privacy policy the ability to publish to Facebook personal profiles from third-party apps such as Postcron will be removed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>This change comes into effect on August 1st, 2018, and it means that it will no longer be possible to schedule or publish post to Facebook personal profiles and that all the currently scheduled posts will not be published after that date.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On your Postcron dashboard, you will still be able to access the past posts for you Facebook profile.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you use a Facebook profile for your business, please check <a href=\"http:\/\/localhost\/en\/blog\/convert-facebook-profile-into-fanpage\/\">this article<\/a> on why and how to convert your profile into a Business page. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note that you will still be able to publish to Facebook pages and groups. However, in order to publish to groups you need to connect them to Postcron\u2019s app on Facebook.
